Less than 5 minutes from our Pine Allard apartments, we’ve got Holy Cow’s Ice Cream Parlour. Enjoy their famous ice cream in a donut cone, coloured waffle cones, or a dish. Holy Cow is operated by Lock City Dairy, so all the ice cream is made with fresh local ingredients. Other menu favourites include Ghirardelli Hot Fudge Sundaes, milkshakes, slush puppies, fudge, and so much more. Order your cool treats online for pick up or visit for takeout. Holy Cow’s is open daily from noon to 9pm.

Just five minutes from our Willow Properties, Elliott’s Ice Cream is the perfect choice when you want something special. Try their signature Waffle Tacos made with a waffle taco shell, your choice of ice cream, and delectable toppings. Other favourites include soft serve dipped cones, cookie ice cream sandwiches, and of course their famous ice cream cakes. Open 2pm to 9pm daily.
While it’s a bit more of a drive, we definitely think The Big Moose Ice Cream Parlour at the Frontier Village Trading Post is worth the trip. Enjoy build your own ice cream sandwiches, ice cream nachos, parfait, ice cream pie, and 68 flavours of hard serve ice cream. Try your ice cream in a dipped waffle cone, have it in a waffle bowl or taco, or try one of the many other delicious options. The Big Moose is open 11am to 10pm daily.
Gelato is Italian ice cream made with butterfat whole milk and sugar. Here in Sault Ste. Marie, we can find delicious gelato at The Gelato Mill in the Canal District, less than 10 minutes from our properties. The gelato is made in house by a pastry chef and served in a cone, cup, or ice cream sandwich. There’s also a Starbucks in house for your favourite beverages. The Gelato Mill is open daily from 9am to 9pm.
